RELIGIOUS: FORGIVE AND FORGET

FORGIVE AND FORGET

"So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses" Matthew 18:35

Who would ever hurt? Who has ever been hurt by a friend or someone else? Surely we do not want to admit we never hurt. We are told to forgive people if they have ever hurt us, you'd have roughly say "yes I want to forgive", or going to say, "Eits, can not, because its totally hurts!". We choose which one? One day a friend of the story "why yes I've been trying to calm my heart and forget about the people who have been hurt me, but when there are issues related to people that I met or heard, I immediately remembered her actions and the pain has started again?" God reminded me about some of the events I have ever experienced. At that time you have a friend who really make me hurt. But through it event, Lord teach me to learn to practice the word "forgive". And the next step is to forget. Then I said to my friend, "you have to do is forgive and forget his actions." Forgiving and forgetting are the two things are related and inseparable. When we have been hurt, God teaches us to forgive those who hurt us by releasing forgiveness. If we can not forgive others, try to remember this story. Imagine if God was angry and said, "My Father in heaven will do the same to you, if each of you do not forgive your brother from your heart." Remember, God forgives us first. If you suppose that can not forgive, just think if God did not want to forgive you.
