FAVORITE: MUSIC: PUMP IT UP


Pump It Up, commonly abbreviated as PIU or shortened to Pump, is a music video game series currently developed by Nexcade and published by Andamiro, arcade game manufacturers Korea. The game is usually played in the dance pad with five arrow panels: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, and a center panel. Additional game-play modes may use two five-panel pads side-by-side. This panel is pressed using a player legs, in response to arrows that appear on the screen in front of the player. The arrows are synchronized with the general rhythm or the rhythm of the selected song, and success depends on the ability of players to time and position his steps accordingly. The original version of this game was originally released in South Korea in August 1999. This game also been released in other markets, such as North America and South America and Europe. The current version of the game, Pump It Up Fiesta, was released on March 6, 2010. Pump It Up has been trying to meet more Freestyle players than "technical" players with a more friendly graphical freestyle, as a result of the game has more of a culture in the freestyle and break dancing disciplines. However, the game still serve well for a player with a vast array of technical, high difficulty and step-charts.
